Dogport, the city's dog park, will be closed for two weeks for construction of the sewer line for the new restroom facilities. Dogport will reopen Monday, May 26. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve our parks.

The Maryland Heights Community Theatre invites all St. Louis-area residents to audition for its summer musical, "Gypsy.” Performances of the show are scheduled for July 24 through 27 at Maryland Heights Centre, 2344 McKelvey Road.

Parts are available for men, women and children ages 8 and older. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 13 and Wednesday, May 14 from 6 - 9 p.m. Children ages 8-12 should bring a recent photograph, theatre resume and be prepared to sing “My Country ‘Tis of Thee” or “Happy Birthday.”

Adults ages 13 and older should bring a recent photograph, theatre resume and be prepared to sing an upbeat, 32-measure show tune that displays their vocal range. Performers will also be taught a short dance routine.
