Grab your walking shoes and join us on Thursday, June 14 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the extension of the Fee Fee Greenway from McKelvey Woods to Creve Coeur Park. Residents are invited to join the festivities at the Fee Fee Greenway trailhead in Creve Coeur Park near the disc golf course. Parking is available at the trailhead/disc golf course parking lot on Marine Avenue. Overflow parking is available in Sailboat Cove across Marine Avenue. Guest speakers will begin addressing the crowd at approximately 5:15 p.m., followed by the ribbon cutting at 5:45 p.m. Light refreshments, yard games, music and a guided tour will be available.
The expanded greenway now stretches 3 miles from the City's recreation complex (trailhead located near Aquaport/Dogport) to Creve Coeur Park. Area residents can get a sneak preview of the expanded greenway on Saturday June 9 at the 3rd annual Life Outside Festival in Creve Coeur Park. You can take this greenway all the way to the Heritage Museum in St. Charles County by
using the Creve Coeur Park Connector and Centennial Greenway. You can also connect to
the KATY Trail! This would make it a 9 mile ride (18 miles round trip!).
