The Department issues a series of business tracking reports on a periodic basis to either elected or appointed officials, city staff, Fire Districts and the Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, the Department tracks residential and commercial land use and buildings throughout the city. Reports available on the website are described below.
Company Information & Status Reports
Series of compiled reports that include an alphabetical list of all business in Maryland Heights, based on licensing data, includes company name, address, net usable area, and contact information; list of businesses moving into Maryland Heights on monthly and year-to-date basis; summary (spreadsheet) of company transition by sector, by month in current year.
Community Development Reports
City Planner’s Report, which provides an graphic summary of the Planning Commission agenda, status of Planning Commission recommendations, informational articles on development trends, planning and zoning issues, planning commission training, upcoming workshops or special meetings.
Annual Report, provides an overview of the department’s activities and development trends for the year, including review of program goals, performance measures and staff development initiatives. The report includes a summary of major development, approvals of conditional use permits and planned districts, licensing and permitting activity. Also included are discussions of the planning commission’s work plan for the coming year, future development projects, economic development data and business transitions.
