Flash Mob "Thriller"

Rehearsals are Tuesdays, September 11 - October 23

Final Performance will be Tuesday, October 30. Location TBD. 

Ages 14+

Come out and show us your best Thriller moves! Learn the original choreography to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" music video. There will be six scheduled rehearsals leading up to our grand finale flash mob performance at a public location. Location will be disclosed closer to the performance date. Invite your friends, family and neighbors to join you for this Halloween event of the season! No rehearsal on October 16.

Night Out with Picasso's Palette

Create your own wood pallet masterpiece! Our instructor will give you step-by-step instructions and you will take home a fantastic addition to your home decor. Bring your own snacks and drinks to add to the fun!

Mega Boot Camp

Come out and test your fitness level at this mega boot camp. Led by Chris and Tosha, this class will push you toyour fitness limit with high energy exercises, music and lots of sweat!

Maryland Heights and Creve Coeur are teaming up for a Halloween-themed 9 hole scramble. Come dressed in your best costume! Entry fee includes: golfing with a cart, attendance prizes, food, beverages and awards. Register by October 13.

Oktoberfest

Gather your family and friends for a FREE fun Fall afternoon int he park. Activities include: live music by Jake Gill, face painting, the Bubble Bus, various games, paint-a-pumpkin station, food trucks and a family-friendly Halloween Contest.

Halloween Parade

Pop Culture Trivia

Put your pop culture knowledge to the test at our annual Maryland Heights Trivia Night! Registration is open to tables of 8 and beer, soda and door prizes will be provided. Outside food and drink are welcome (no glass bottles, please). Doors will open at 6:30 PM. Trivia will begin promptly at 7:00 PM. The winning team will receive a cash prize.

Bedtime Buddy Sleepover

Diddy the Dolphin is hosting a sleepover. Kids can drop off their favorite stuffed friend and pick them up the next day between noon and 2:00 p.m. to receive a special keepsake.

Volunteer Service Day

Ages 8+

Make a difference in our community! This year's Fall Volunteer Service Day is on Saturday, Nov. 3rd from 8:30  a.m. to Noon. Volunteers, ages 8 and older, are needed to assist elderly and disabled residents with leaf clean-up. Volunteers will meet at 8:15 a.m. at the Community Center (2300 McKelvey Rd.) for a light breakfast, brief orientation and to collect their free volunteer shirt. They will be sent to homes that are in need of raking and bagging leaves, trimming bushes/shrubs, weeding and general yard and garden clean-up. Volunteers are  encouraged to bring rakes and work gloves. This is a great opportunity for families, church groups, troops, students needing service hours and kind-hearted individuals!

Come get all your holiday shopping done in one stop! Vendors of home-based businesses and handmade crafts will be there displaying their products. Beverages will be available to sip while you shop.

If you would like to be a vendor, please download an application form here and email your completed form and a photo of your handcrafted items (if applicable) to Jennifer at jvandyke@marylandheights.com or return it to the Community Center. All booths must donate an item from their business valued at $10 or more for a raffle. Vendors will be provided with one eight foot table and two chairs. No other tables may be brought in. Booths must contain home-based business items (ie, Pampered Chef, Norwex, Mary Kay, etc.) or handmade craft items. We will only accept one applicant of each type.
