Could you live without technology for 30 days? That’s the question in this smart and fun play by award-winning playwright Laurie Bryant.

Ten years ago, tiny North Creek, Wisconsin became “The Most Wired Town in America” thanks to a contest-winning essay from local resident Abigail Rickman. As their prize, SOLOtech outfitted the entire town with state-of-the-art, wireless technology. Fast forward to today, and the citizens of North Creek do everything virtually. EVERYTHING. But when SOLOtech Founder Tom Morris learns that Abigail has sent back her SOLOpad, claiming life was better without it, he seeks Abigail out, concerned that there might be some truth in what she’s saying. Despite the protests of his assistants, he offers the town $30 million dollars to unplug for an entire month.

"Unplugged" is by Laurie Bryant. Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado.

Cost: $6 ages 3-12 and 62+ • $8 ages 13-61 (ticket prices increases $2 Nov. 15)
