Program Registration & Guides
Program & Class Registration
Registration for most programs is available online. First, you must set up an account with the Parks & Recreation Department. Residents of Maryland Heights and those who are employed by a business within the City must bring proof of residency to the Community Center in order to receive resident rates. Non-residents of Maryland Heights or those who do not wish to receive resident rates can call the Community Center at (314) 738-2599 to setup an account.
Once your account has been established and during your first time signing in, your username will be your phone number (including area code, no dashes or spaces) and your password will be your last name. The system will prompt you to set up a new password during your first login.
Group Exercise, Personal Training & Private Swim Lessons
The Parks & Recreation Department also utilizes MindBody for group exercise classes, personal training and private swim lesson registration. Read below for more details on how to use MindBody.

Deadlines, Refunds and Program Cancellations
Unless otherwise stated in the description, registration will remain open until two days before the program begins, however, programs may be cancelled prior for low enrollment. All programs have a minimum and maximum enrollment. If the program meets its maximum enrollment, no other patrons will be able to sign up so it is important to register early if you are interested!
If a program does not meet its minimum enrollment requirement, it may be cancelled. Any patrons that have signed up for a program that is canceled due to low enrollment will receive a full refund (see below for our refund policy).
Occasionally, programs/events are canceled due to weather. Depending on the program, a staff member will contact you or it will be posted on our social media pages, the City's website and via the MHparks mobile app.
General Program Refund Policy
The Maryland Heights Parks & Recreation Department aims to provide you with complete program satisfaction. We understand that from time to time scheduling changes and special circumstances require you to cancel or change your planned activities. We depend on your enrollment for a successful class. Please plan your schedule carefully. All activities/classes have a minimum and a maximum enrollment and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation. In an effort to maximize space in each activity, we have established the following refund policies. Please review them carefully prior to enrollment and make sure to read over program-specific policies. If you have any questions, please contact us at (314) 738-2599. We look forward to providing you with an enjoyable recreation experience.

Program Transfers: Transferring prior to the start of classes: If you would like to transfer into a class that costs more than your original class, you must pay the difference in class fees prior to attending the new class. If the class you are transferring into costs less than your original class, you will receive a credit for the difference. Transferring after the start of classes: No refunds will be given if you are transferring into a less expensive class after classes have started. You will also be charged for any difference in fees when going from a less expensive to a more expensive class. Transfers are not allowed after the second program/activity meeting date. One-day programs, special events, trips, and select programs do not offer a transfer option.
Trips: It is the patron’s responsibility to verify their receipt for the trips they are registered for. If you are unsure of your availability wait to register. If you have trouble walking, transferring, using steps, etc. then a level 2 or 3 trip may not be right for you. Due to the nature and commitment of bus contracts, a refund will be granted only to registered individuals who cancel 21 days (40 days for overnight trips) prior to the date of the trip. For trips that involve tickets to shows or performances, the ticket purchases are non-refundable unless they can be resold. Keep in mind that most restaurants, bus companies, theaters, and venues that charge admissions require a non-refundable deposit or full payment upfront. If a trip has a waiting list and we can fill your spot a credit will be applied to your household. We understand illnesses come up, however in order to receive any type of refund we will need a note from a licensed doctor and you will only be given a pro-rated refund for any amount we have not pre-paid.
Wait List: Wait lists are established as soon as an activity or class is full. If vacancies occur, residents and members will receive priority. If you have been placed on a waitlist for a class, you will not be charged to remain on the waitlist. If space becomes available, you will be notified and given directions on how to pay for enrollment.
