Adie Road Reconstruction
September 2, 2016
It is the City's intent to send this newsletter on a regular basis as the project progresses. These newsletters will keep you informed on the status of the project and potential traffic impacts.
Adie Road (Fee Fee Road to Schuetz Road) will be reconstructed to a 39 foot wide concrete street with curb and gutter. Sidewalks will be constructed on both sides of the street. In addition the bridge over the creek will be replaced with a precast arch culvert.
The remainder of the center lane from Fee Fee Road to Centerline Industrial Drive is being paved today, September 2. Paving of the eastbound lane from Centerline Industrial Drive to the railroad tracks is planned for the week of September 5. Removal of the old bridge has been completed and excavation for the new structure began.
NOTE: Adie Road is closed to all through traffic between Centerline Industrial Drive and Schuetz Road. This is necessary to allow for the construction of the new creek crossing.
Adie Road continues to be one-way eastbound between Fee Fee Road and Centerline Industrial Drive until all of the new pavement is in place. Chaffee Drive at Adie Road will also remain closed.
