Volunteer registration is now open for this event. The City requires that volunteers younger than age 18 have the waiver (linked below in step two) signed by a parent/guardian. All volunteers must have a signed waiver, which will be collected at the event's sign-in/registration. Waivers for individuals and groups are linked below. If you forget to bring the form with you, extras will be available at registration the morning of the event.
The City of Maryland Heights is seeking volunteers for their Spring Service Day scheduled for Saturday, April 28th from 8:15-Noon. Volunteers will assist elderly and disabled residents with leaf clean up, weeding and trimming. Tasks will primarily be raking and bagging leaves, and may include some weeding and minor shrub trimming. Leaf bags will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a rake and work gloves. No special skills are needed and all willing volunteers are encouraged to sign-up.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for Boy and Girl Scout troops, civic organizations, church groups and students looking to fulfill volunteer hours.
Volunteers will meet at 8:15 a.m. at the Maryland Heights Community Center to sign-in, obtain a volunteer tshirt, get a light breakfast and have a brief orientation. All yard work will wrap up by Noon.

Fill out the Liability Waivers and bring them with you to the Community Center on April 28:
Volunteers should plan to arrive at Maryland Heights Community Center (2300 McKelvey Rd.) no later than 8:30 a.m. to sign in. If you have registered as a family or group, only one person from the group needs to sign in and collect t-shirts for their group. A thank you breakfast will be provided during registration. Volunteers will receive t-shirts and assignments that morning upon sign-in. A brief orientation will be provided beginning at 9 a.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring a rake and work gloves. Leaf bags will be provided. All volunteer jobs will be completed by 12:00 p.m. (Noon).
