Fee Fee Road Ballfields To Be Renovated, Updated

In 2019, Maryland Heights acquired over 10 acres of property, north of the Midland Ave. and Fee Fee Rd. intersection, currently consisting of four baseball fields. Over the next few years and as part of the Capital Improvement Plan, the City will turn this land into a multi-sports complex. Although the project is still in the planning phase, upon completion the complex will look to have at least three functional fields for play. Input will be sought during the planning phase and will assist the City on the direction of the project and which sports to include in the complex.

Minor improvements have already begun on field one, closest to Fee Fee Rd., and is scheduled to be available for resident use in spring of 2021. City staff will be working on the initial renovations to field one by prepping the infield and leveling and seeding the outfield. Fencing and dugouts will be added in future phases of the project. This complex will operate similar to other parks in the city, available for open use to Maryland Heights residents for pickup games, skills development and more.
