Around Maryland Heights
Around Maryland Heights is a new program developed by the Communications and Economic Development departments of Maryland Heights to shine the spotlight on businesses and services in the Maryland Heights area! The Communications department will be producing videos ranging from 5-10 minutes in length that can inform and entertain members of our community while celebrating all that makes our city unique, and what enables Maryland Heights to run each and every day. We can't do it alone though - we need your help in order for this program to succeed!
Organizations submitted to the pool of nominees will be voted on by the Economic Development Committee on a bimonthly basis, before a final selection is made by the Communications and Economic Development departments and the City Administrator. From there, organizations that are selected will be contacted by the Communications Division, where we’ll begin the process of coordinating a video shoot. All photo and video material we produce will also be turned over to partners of the program when production is complete. While not required, we’d greatly appreciate any promotional collateral partners may be able to provide to be used for future city events and giveaways.
In order to be eligible for the program, nominees must have a valid business license with the city, must be in good financial standing (taxing/billing/penalties/etc...) with the city, and must be located within city limits or directly service Maryland Heights residents. Home businesses are allowed, and there is no limit on the number of employees a business must have in order to participate.
