IMPORTANT:
The information below applies to sheds, pergolas, and gazebos that are 200 square feet or less in area and fences which do not enclose a swimming pool.  If your proposed structure is over 200 square feet or your fence encloses a swimming pool, click here for information on how to apply for a building permit.


WHAT TO SUBMIT:
For sheds, pergolas, and gazebos that are 200 square feet or less in area and fences which do not enclose a swimming pool, please complete the "Zoning Approval" application available here or apply online using the link below.  You will also need to submit a basic site plan showing the location of the fence, shed, or other structure in relation to the property lines. 


HOW TO SUBMIT IT:
You have four options:

1. Scan the application and site plan (or photograph them) and send them by e-mail to: planning@marylandheights.com; or
2. Apply online (new users click Register for Account on lower right side of page); or
3. Apply at the front desk of the Government Center at 11911 Dorsett Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.  Business hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; or
   
4. Mail the items to:  Planning & Zoning, City of Maryland Heights, 11911 Dorsett Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
