Policies & Protocols
Judge Kelly has indicated that he will accept pleas on some cases that normally require a court appearance. If you would like to enter a plea on a case that is not payable in the violations bureau please email the judge at Court@Marylandheights.com .
The court has begun to send out notices of video conference settings. If you receive a notice and have questions please contact the court more than five days prior to your video conference. If you would like to request a video conference setting please email the court at the address noted above. All dockets scheduled through May 31. 2021 will be converted to video dockets.
If you get notice for video conference please download these two files. If you download and return the video waiver by email it is possible we can expedite your case by placing your case on an earlier docket that has fewer defendants scheduled. Your notice will have the date and time and information necessary to connect to your video conference. When you enter the meeting code you will be put into a virtual lobby. The display will read Court Clerk's personal room. You will be admitted to talk to the judge in the order that you join. In most cases your wait will be short. There will be some exceptions. You may have to be patient. When you are logged into the Court Clerk's personal room please make sure your video is enabled. If you have any questions please email the court at the email address above.
