The Customer Relations Supervisor oversees the Membership Services program and the Community Center Customer Service Team which includes the front desk operations, recreation management software administration, monthly billing, and facility training for employees as well as supervision and evaluation.

The annualized pay range for this non-exempt position is $46,620 to $59,428

  • Deliver a safe and excellent customer service experience to our residents, members and patrons.
  • Schedule, oversee and participate in the rotation of the Supervisor on Duty which includes opening/closing/and weekend rotation for the Community Center.
  • Manage the daily operations of the front desk at the Community Center including deposits, monthly installments, monthly and annual reports, as well as coding and scanning invoices into LaserFiche.
  • Interview, hire, schedule, train, supervise and evaluate part-time customer service staff.
  • Oversee the operation, supervision and staffing for the Play Center.
  • Assist the Superintendent of Recreation Facilities with the management of full time Customer Relations Specialists.
  • Responsible for administrative functions of recreation software including insurance plan reimbursements for healthy benefits (Active and Fit and Silver Sneakers.)
  • Conduct staff meetings and on-going training to ensure clear communication of program and membership changes.
  • Oversee the building operations manuals including regular updates.
  • Responsible for operational inventory and supplies for the Community Center front desk and recreation staff.
  • Assist in preparation of statistical reports and annual budgets regarding facility usage and membership information.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Support Emergency Response as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
  • Four year degree preferred in Parks and Recreation.
  • Two years supervisory experience.

 An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and skill in public relations and customer service.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to take instruction from supervisor in planning and detail of activities and events and follow through with implementation and evaluation.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as a member of a team.
  • Ability to effectively lead and supervise staff.
  • Strong computer skills essential, including an understanding of recreation software and Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.


 CPR/AED certification.
