Save the Date: Maryland Heights Night Out

On Saturday, September 24, Maryland Heights' residents will gather with neighbors to celebrate our community during our annual Maryland Heights Night Out (MHNO) tradition.

MHNO originally began on August 11, 1987 with a group of residents and members of the Neighborhood Watch program who turned on their porch lights and sat outside for an hour from 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. to show unity in their program and hoped to provide a night free of crime. More than thirty years later, MHNO has evolved into a series of block parties with neighbors gathering around good food, fun games and interaction with city staff.

Celebrate what it means to live in Maryland Heights by organizing your own block party. By registering your party, hosts will be able to request barricades to block off the street, flyer invitations, giveaways, a party planning guide and the opportunity to receive visits from local fire districts, city staff (visits are on a first come, first serve basis which means early registrations will be given priority), and elected officials.
