Mayors for Meals Food Drive

UPDATE (7/11/22): Over the duration of our Mayors for Meals donation drive, our residents were generous enough to give over 100 pounds of food, enough to provide 84 meals for those in need. We appreciate the support of all those in our community that came out to help those in need!

Want to win some cool swag? Mayor Moeller will be at the Community Center on 6/21, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for the Mayors for Meals Food Drive with prizes in hand - and you'll have the chance to win big!

Summer is a crucial time for many who lack regular access to food, especially children who can't rely on school breakfast and lunch offerings throughout the summer break. Food drives such as this are crucial in alleviating the pressures of food insecurity, and every item donated makes a huge difference for those who need them most.
While all varieties of shelf-stable, non-perishable goods are appreciated, the following items are some of the most crucially needed:

- Pull-top canned goods (vegetables/soup/proteins/etc...)
- Pasta/noodle products
- Whole-grain cereal/oatmeal/granola
- Dried fruit/meat
- Bottled water
- Cooking oils/sprays
- Salt & spices
- Plastic storage bags/containers
- Baby care products
- Feminine care products
- Personal care & household items

Please join the Mayor in giving to those in our community that need our help the most in these upcoming weeks. We hope to see you on the Summer Solstice for the chance to win prizes, and to support our neighbors through the act of giving!
