Electronic Recycling Returns on September 10th!

Looking to get rid of old gadgets and technology? Responsibly disposing of these goods can be a challenge, but we're here to help with our Electronics Recycling Events! Residents are invited to bring in old goods for FREE disposal of most items after registering beforehand.

Our next Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, September 10. Registration will begin on July 1 and end on September 7.

Twice a year, we work with the Midwest Recycling Center (MRC) to host electronics recycling drives for Maryland Heights Residents. This offers a safe, easy way for residents to dispose of electronic items, most of which are processed for free at the drives. A full list of accepted items and potential fees can be found at : www.mrcrecycling.net/recycling-fees.

You can register for this event online at www.marylandheights.com/RecyclingEvents or by phone at (314) 291-6550. Participation is limited to the first 375 residents, so it is important to register early! Registration will open on July 1 and close on September 7.

By way of a grant awarded by St. Louis County Health Department, we are offering the opportunity to dispose of a CRT TV for free. It typically costs $30 - $50 to dispose of these types of TVs. If you have a CRT TV, register for a session that includes a "voucher." On the day of the event, you will be given a voucher to hand to MRC staff.

When registering, you will have to provide your name, phone number, home address and email (if applicable). If you register by phone, be sure to note if you would like to recycle a CRT TV. Any reservations that do not have complete information will not be secured. We will be checking addresses to confirm Maryland Heights residency. Registration is required in order to participate. Anyone who has not registered will be turned away.
