City Playgrounds Now Open With Safety In Mind

Working with St. Louis County Department of Health, a plan has been developed to open all playgrounds and fitness stations at parks operated by the City of Maryland Heights with safety guidelines in place effective today, Friday, September 18. This includes equipment at Eise Park, McKelvey Woods Park, Parkwood Park, Quiet Hollow Park and Vago Park.

Equipment will be disinfected twice weekly by City staff using approved sanitation methods. We ask that if you are sick or showing symptoms of COVID-19 that you please stay home. In ordinance with St. Louis County, there are a few guidelines those using the playgrounds must follow. Masks are required at all times while using the playground/equipment and 6 feet social distancing is required. It is important to wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer frequently. We ask that you play responsibly and understand the risks of COVID-19. For more information on COVID-19, please visit www.marylandheights.com/covid19.
