Celebrate Culture at Worldfest 2023

Do you enjoy song, dance, and delicious food? Do you want to experience global diversity within Maryland Heights? If so, you can't miss out on this year's Maryland Heights WorldFest! Festivities will take place at the St. Louis Music Park at Centene Community Ice Center (750 Casino Center Dr.) on Sunday, May 7, from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and is free to attend!

This year promises to be the most exciting yet, with performances ranging from Egyptian belly dance to Japanese drum ensembles, and everything in between! Performances will take place for the entire duration of the event. We'll also have a free kid's area with arts and crafts activities sponsored by St. Louis County Library, which will be open from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

  • 12:15 p.m. • St. Louis Traditional Chinese Music Ensemble • A variety of traditional Chinese music and American/Pop music played on traditional Asian and Chinese instruments. • (International Stage)
  • 12:45 p.m. • World Musician • Traditional musical performances on historic stringed instruments from the Middle East and Asia. • (Unity Tent)
  • 1:00 p.m. • Meghan Torno Irish Dancers • Traditional Irish dancing. • (International Stage)
  • 1:30 p.m. • Belly Dance with Nissa • Egyptian Raqs Shamadan (The Candelabrum Dance). • (Unity Tent)
  • 1:45 p.m. • Bobby Norfolk • African Storyteller • (International Stage)

  • 2:30 p.m. • Fire Inside • Bulgarian Folklore Dances. • (International Stage)

  • 3:15 p.m. • St. Louis Osuwa Taiko • Japanese drumming ensemble. • (International Stage)
  • 4:00 p.m. • The Austrian Trio • Traditional Austrian music played on clarinets. • (Unity Tent)
  • 4:15 p.m. • Aalim Belly Dance • Variety of dance from the genre Danse Oriental representing the Middle and Near East, as well as central European regions. • (International Stage)

If you're hungry, we have you covered - with multiple food vendors at the event, including a menu from 314 Social inspired by Cajun cuisine, you can sink your teeth into flavors from all over the world! 

Want to do some shopping between performances? We'll have a dedicated marketplace showing off goods from countries all over the world as well. The following vendors will be present at Worldfest throughout the entire duration of the event!
