Meet the Chefs of Worldfest 2023!

Don’t forget your appetite at Worldfest 2023 – we’re excited to announce 314 Social’s menu, inspired by Cajun cuisine!

Prepared by Chef Blake Mahon and Sous Chef ZaTasha Jenkins, the offerings, which include a gluten-free gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans and rice, pull from Jenkins' home state of Louisiana. Jenkins noted that by preparing the gumbo with okra instead of a traditional roux, she could put a new spin on a familiar dish. “Always remember your roots!” Jenkins said, noting the importance of representing her cultural background
through food.

This year’s menu provides options for people with all dietary needs without sacrificing flavor – in addition to the gluten-free gumbo, the red beans and rice are totally vegan, ensuring there’s something for everyone at this year’s festivities!

314 Social will have a variety of drinks available in addition to their food offerings, and will be serving food throughout the duration of the event. “This is our third year at Worldfest,” Chef Blake said. “We love how it’s grown, and can’t wait to see what this year has to offer.”

Don’t miss out on the delicious food that’s cooking, and on everything else Worldfest 2023 has to offer! All festivities will take place on Sunday, May 7, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the St. Louis Music Park at Centene Community Ice Center (750 Casino Center Dr., Maryland Heights, MO). The event is totally free to attend – for more details, please visit www.marylandheights.com/worldfest
