MH Swag Shop T-Shirt Design Contest
Do you have what it takes to design a t-shirt that the whole City can be proud of? We are in the process of opening up the MH Swag Store and would love to feature some local artists! Here are the rules:
1. Designs must be original creations and not previously published.
2. Designs cannot contain profanity, trademarks, other organizations' logos, or any copyrighted works of any other person or business.
3. There will be two categories: Adults (Ages 18+) and Child (Ages 17 and under).
3. There is no entry fee. Two design submissions per person are allowed.
4. Designs must be submitted in a PDF, JPG, or PNG format. Designs created in Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, CorelDraw are not required, but preferred.
5. Winning designers must agree to sign a waiver to allow the City of Maryland Heights to use the design free of charge for any and all printing and promotional purposes.
6. The design must relate to Maryland Heights in some capacity.
7. The design can be featured on either light or dark clothing options. Please indicate on the form if you have a preference.
8. Entries will be evaluated by City staff and winners will be selected based on concept/originality, adherence to design and submission rules, capturing the essence of Maryland Heights, and total design and production readiness.
9. Winners will receive a prize of $150.00 and a shirt with their design.
10. Designs and artist names will be featured on the City website, social media accounts, and the MH Life newsletter.
11. This contest will open on September 4 and close on November 1. The winners will be announced on Friday, November 10.
