Show Me Safe With Mayor Moeller
The City launched a new campaign, Show Me Safe with Mayor Moeller, at the closing event of the Feed the Masses Food Drive on November 30. Community members who participated in the event and helped to fill the MHPD K9 vehicle with non-perishable food items also had the opportunity to pose for photos with Mayor Moeller from a socially safe distance of six feet. The six-foot-long banner shown in the photo below features Mayor Moeller's likeness, six one-foot markers and the mask design.
As a city in the "Show Me" state, the goal of this campaign is to encourage and highlight individuals who remain active in the community by patronizing local businesses and participating in city events and programs in a safe manner by wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. If you see Mayor Moeller with this banner at a city facility, store or restaurant, show him your compliance with safety precautions and snap a photo with the Mayor to receive a City of Maryland Heights face mask and hand sanitizer. You can also send selfies of you and your family being safe at local establishments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Photos will be featured on social media to encourage others to "Show Me Safe." Help Mayor Moeller show everyone that despite the pandemic, we can still be there for each other as a community.
