Drew Johnson Receives Maria Lucas Memorial Award
The City of Maryland Heights is pleased to announce Drew Johnson as the 2024 recipient of the Maria Lucas Excellent Customer Service Award. This award honors the life and memory of Maria Lucas, a valued Parks and Recreation employee who was tragically killed on February 24, 2020. This designation is awarded to an employee each year who demonstrates great customer service, hard work, and dedication.
Drew Johnson joined the Parks and Recreation department as a part-time Customer Relations worker in 2018. In 2021, he was promoted to a full-time Customer Relations Specialist position and is a valued Community Center employee. Drew has distinguished himself with his positive attitude and light-hearted nature. He is always going above and beyond, stepping up when others need help.
