Summer Cooling and Utility Resources are Available!

As the dog days of summer continue on, we understand that beating the heat can become a major financial struggle for some. Because of this, we've worked to assemble a list of cooling resources in the area, as well as utility assistance resources for those in need.

If you are having trouble with your utility bills or need weatherization services, these local resources can help to alleviate financial difficulties:

Further resources are available in our Utility, Rent, and Mortgage Assistance resource packet, which can help you find resources in the area to assist you in times of financial struggle. This packet and many more can be found at our Social Work landing page!

In addition, here is a list of all of the cooling centers in St. Louis:

The closest listed cooling center to Maryland Heights is the Bridgeton Trails Library, but the Community Center and Government Center lobby are also available during regular business hours to anyone who needs to get out of the heat.

Please contact our Social Worker, Claire, at (314) 738-2233 if you have any questions or would like assistance with these resources.
