Santa and Maryland Heights First Responders Deliver Gifts to Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital

One of the most meaningful traditions in Maryland Heights is the annual Ranken Jordan Christmas Event, a yearly parade and delivery of gifts from Santa organized by the Maryland Heights Police Department and Maryland Heights Fire District.

This year was the first time since 2019 that city staff were able to go inside to watch the children open gifts (although, the tradition still continued through the pandemic) - and we wanted to share some of our favorite memories from the event!

On Friday, December 16, Santa, the Maryland Heights Police Department and the Maryland Heights Fire Department made their way down Dorsett Road to visit the residents at Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital. We appreciate the generosity of everyone who made the event possible, including an especially generous donation from Hollywood Casino to the Maryland Heights Police Officers Association that helped make the wishes of so many children in need come true this year!

This event is just one of the many ways that our first responders show love for their community and we appreciate all that the work that goes into making many little dreams come true for the young patients at Ranken Jordan.
