Police Station Tour Requests

Would you like to coordinate a tour of your local police station for your organization? Tours of the MHPD are available for organizations such as girl or boy scout troops. If you are interested, please follow these steps:

1. Fill Out the Police Station Request Form: This form is available by clicking the link below. When filling out the form, please include:

  • Organization details.
  • Total number of participants (children and adults).
  • Any special accommodations needed.
  • Specific topics or interests you'd like to cover during the tour.

3. Submit the Form: Submit the completed form online. Ensure you do this well in advance of your preferred tour date.

4. Confirmation and Scheduling: Staff from the MHPD will contact you to confirm the tour date, time, and assigned officer. Please note, tours are based on the availability of the officers. 

5. Prepare and Enjoy: Inform your group about the tour details, including dress code and behavior expectations. Show up on time and enjoy the informative tour, which may include areas like the roll call room, dispatch, and the jail.
