Around Maryland Heights Shines a Spotlight on our City!
The City of Maryland Heights is excited to launch a new program that points a spotlight towards the best of our community with "Around Maryland Heights" - and we need YOUR help in order to make it a reality!
Around Maryland Heights is a video series produced by the Communications Division that will visit various business and service companies located within city limits. These videos are intended to inform and entertain members of our community and beyond about all the companies that make our city unique, and to celebrate those that keep our city running each and every day. Companies and organizations selected for the program will also be featured in the Community Spotlight section of our City Newsletter concurrent with the release of their videos.
In the spirit of celebrating our community, we encourage area businesses to apply to our program, and for the public to nominate their favorite businesses and services at marylandheights.com/cityspotlight. Organizations submitted to the pool of nominees will be voted on by the Economic Development Committee on a bimonthly basis, before a final selection is made by the Communications and Economic Development departments and the City Administrator. From there, organizations that are selected will be contacted by the Communications Division, where we’ll begin the process of coordinating a video shoot. All photo and video material we produce will also be turned over to partners of the program when production is complete. While not required, we’d greatly appreciate any promotional collateral partners may be able to provide to be used for future city events and giveaways.
In order to be eligible for the program, nominees must have a valid business license with the city, must be in good financial standing (taxing/billing/penalties/etc...) with the city, and must be located within city limits or directly service Maryland Heights residents. Home businesses are allowed, and there is no limit on the number of employees a business must have in order to participate.
